Poshy News
Oh it's a little bit of this and a little bit of that here.
Whether you are a new Perfectly Posh consultant or you've been poshing people for awhile, you need samples. There are lots of options to "get product on people". Many consultants purchase pre-made packages from the back office called the posh portal. Lucky you if you get your hands on some, they go fast. I personally like to make my own. I get to try out stuff. I receive commission on sampling. How cool is that? I receive an awesome new chunk and cut it up and share with everyone. Lotions are a little harder. Lip scrubs? How can we do those? The little black round plastic lacons are what most reps use. Others use the heat and seal Mylar bags. But when your at an event these straws are perfect. Check out your local dollar tree type store, pick up a bag of straws with the spoons on the ends. Cut them them up ta-da. Look at all those tubes you have left over. Yeah. Fill them up with body butters, lotions, body wash, the new bare all makeup remover? Heat the ends with a cheap hair straightener or some use tweezers and a lighter? Go forth poshers. You can do this! It's easy, inexpensive and think about it. Posh is paying you to sample and share. My team is all about the "We Simply Pamper". And we do it simply. . im pretty crafty. I can do this. I had gender bender, good morning beautiful, and peace love take a shower chunks all cut up. I thought why not try this. Well. It did take some trial and error today. Normally I just use these little black containers called Lacons. Slap a sticker on the top and done. Well they don't go through the postal system all that great. Some have said the contents dry out after a while too. I personally have never had that happen. I decided to try these awesome Mylar heat and seal bags I purchased from Amazon. These worked well for the chunks. The stickers on the other hand. Uh-oh. These ate up, most of my afternoon. I'm techy challenged. I literally have to say a spell to make my wireless printer connect to the laptop. Oh it's a whole process. So you see by the picture, it took some practice. I simplified it and went to Avery.com to make the labels. I googled the sample pics. Added photo. Text was another challenge, but you just need to play with it. Once you've got a good print, stick the sticker, fill the bag and seal. I use my flat iron on a very low setting. Tada. Samples! It doesn't have to be this fancy. 😜 does it? Nope. It doesn't. They can be quicker and I did get about 25 samples done in a matter of minutes. Once you get the printing down, they are easy breezy.
